Ever Gift

Get started

Trust center

Your most personal words deserve more than a promise. Here is exactly how EverGift protects them, and what we can and cannot do.

What we can see

  • Your name, email and the plan you chose
  • The people and dates you add to plan your messages
  • That a gift is sealed, how large it is and when it may be delivered

What we cannot see

  • What you recorded or wrote
  • Your unlock phrase or passkey
  • Gift titles and contents, even when we deliver them

How your gifts are protected

  • Sealed on your computer

Every message is encrypted inside EverGift Vault before it leaves your computer. Only the vault holds the key.

  • We store it, we can't open it

Sealed gifts are kept in two separate storage locations. Our staff and systems handle only the sealed copy.

  • Proof it was never changed

Each sealed gift gets a public proof record. Your loved one can check that what they receive is exactly what you sealed.

  • Passkeys, not passwords

No password to phish. Important changes ask you to confirm with your passkey again.

  • We never ask for secrets

No one from EverGift will ever ask for your unlock phrase, passkey or a recovery phrase. Our support system refuses to send messages that do.

  • Built to last

Your plan funds preservation for 25, 50 or 100 years. Billing changes never unseal or delete a gift.

How a passing is confirmed

Releasing a message too early would be unthinkable. So nothing is ever released on a single signal.

  1. Someone you named as a trustee reports it, after confirming their own identity.
  2. An EverGift case officer checks records from two independent sources, such as a government record and a trustee's first-hand statement.
  3. We try to reach you directly, several ways, and wait. If you respond, everything stops.
  4. A challenge window lets anyone who believes the report is wrong object.
  5. Two people in different roles must approve. The person who reported it cannot.
  6. Only then is each gift considered, on its own conditions. A gift for a 2030 graduation still waits for 2030.

A missed check-in, a quiet phone or a wearable signal never counts as evidence of a passing.

Our promise about AI

Our concierge can suggest moments you might want to mark. It can never seal a gift, choose who receives it, write words in your name, invent memories, or decide that anyone has passed away.

Your words, kept as you left them

Setting up takes about ten minutes. You sign in with a passkey on your own device: there is no password to steal or forget.
